Over the next few months, the house next door will no longer be a rental house but will become the Lafayette Teen Ministry Center (Teen Center). After a small re-model and clean up, our Sunday morning Middle School and High School classes will meet there as well as our Wednesday night Huddle Groups – this will probably take place sometime in late Fall or early Winter. The Teen Center will become a place to meet, share and learn for our Lafayette Teens and their friends that they are trying to lead to Christ.
THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON – 1 PM to 4 PM we are asking the Middle Schoolers to come help do some work on your Teen Center (don’t worry Sr. High, we’ll be asking you in the future too!). It will mostly just be hauling trash and doing some pickup in the house and yard. I know it’s a holiday weekend and this is short notice but if you are sitting around wondering what you are going to be doing Sunday, this is a great opportunity to help out. Bring a few bucks for ice cream and if we get our work done early, we may head out for a few minutes.
